A Box Should Match the Jar

Two 30cl jars can look alike and still differ by a few millimetres. That gap decides whether a candle sits snug or rattles. So we never start with a standard size. We start with your jar.

Tell us the height and width with the lid on. We build the box around those numbers and add an insert where the glass needs holding. The outside carries your logo and colours. The inside can carry your scent notes and burn guidance.

Candle Jar Boxes

This is the workhorse of any candle range. A folding carton is light and flat to store. It holds one jar and gives you a large printed face to sell from.

Match the box to the jar:

Check the lid height. A candle with a tall lid or a wooden topper needs more room above it. A box that squashes the lid looks careless on a shelf.

Rigid Candle Gift Boxes

A rigid box is the one customers keep. Thick board gives it weight in the hand. A magnetic lid closes with a click. A ribbon pull makes the opening feel like part of the gift.

These suit launches and Christmas ranges. They also suit candle and diffuser sets where each item needs its own space. Rigid boxes cost more per unit and take more room to store. For plain everyday candles a folding carton gives better value.

Candle Shipping Boxes

Glass travels badly when it moves. A corrugated box with a fitted insert stops the jar sliding. Add a printed inside and the parcel looks like your brand when it opens.

For heavier jars choose a stronger board. Tell us how far the candles travel and in what numbers. We then suggest the lightest build that still protects the glass.

Sleeves for a Fresh Look

A printed sleeve wraps a plain box or tin. It lets you change a design without remaking the whole box. Many makers use one for each fragrance or season. The sleeve must match the box underneath so we need the box size first.

A clean logo and a calm palette usually look best. Busy artwork can fight with the jar label.

Wax and Oil Marks

Fragrance oil and wax can mark plain board. If your candle may touch the box or leak a little in warm weather then ask us about a liner or a coated board. It is a small detail that saves a ruined box.

Kraft or White Board

Kraft has a natural brown look that suits earthy brands. White gives a bright surface for full colour. Both print well. Plain cardboard goes in household recycling. Foil and laminations do not recycle the same way so choose a simple finish if that matters to your brand.

Order Size and Seasons

Low minimum orders let you test a new scent without a big commitment. Reorder the same box as the range grows. Larger runs lower the cost per box. Plan Christmas and Mother’s Day boxes early and send artwork in good time.
