Soap is picked up and sniffed before it is bought. The box has to protect the bar and still let your brand do the talking. A loose carton slides about. A tight one scuffs the corners. So we start with your bar and build the box to match.
Tell us the length and width and depth. Add the thickness of any paper wrap. We cut the box to those numbers and print your logo and scent names and ingredients on the board.

A window lets the bar sell itself. Swirls and layers and dried petals all show through. A small window gives a hint. A wide window shows the full design.
Leave enough board around the opening so the box stays firm. An open cut-out lets customers see and smell the soap. A clear film keeps fingers off it. Film can be clear PET or a plant-based PLA. They recycle in different ways so pick the one that fits your claims.
The tuck-end carton is the simple choice for a single bar. It arrives flat and folds in seconds. The front carries your logo and the back carries ingredients and weight. A straight tuck suits most bars. A reverse tuck gives a neater look on the shelf.
A sleeve wraps the middle of the bar and leaves the ends open. It uses less board and costs less per unit. It also lets customers see and touch the soap. Many makers print a new sleeve each season and keep the same plain box underneath. We need the size of that box before we cut the sleeve.
A rigid box is the one customers keep. Thick board gives it weight. A tray holds each bar in place. These suit gift sets with two or three soaps and a bath bomb or a flannel. They take more storage room than flat cartons and cost more per unit. For a single everyday bar a carton is better value.

Butters and essential oils can leave marks on plain board. A fresh bar that has not fully cured can also sweat. If this is a worry for your soap then ask us about a coated board or an inner wrap. It is a small step that keeps the box clean on the shelf.

Plain board goes in household cardboard recycling. Foil and laminations and window film do not recycle the same way. Choose a plain finish if recycling matters to your brand. Only print an eco claim that you can back up.
Keep ingredient text large enough to read. Check the final artwork against the labelling rules for your product.
Starting out is fine. You can order with no minimum and test a new scent in a small batch. Reorder the same box as the range grows. Larger runs lower the cost per box. Many soap makers keep one box size across all scents and change only the colour or the name. That keeps stock simple and the range easy to spot.
